The Office of Teaching and Learning
-
The focus of the Office of Teaching and Learning is improving student achievement! Our goal is to ensure that all educators are equipped to provide equitable, rigorous, authentic, and personalized experiences for all students, with purposeful attention to underserved populations. Teachers and staff are supported in delivering research-based, standards-aligned curriculum across the district. We facilitate continuous student growth through instructional technology, professional development for educators, instructional coaching, research-based materials, Multi-Tiered Systems of Student Support, and a continuum of supplemental support programs.
The Special Services department specifically serves students with special needs. Kindergarten to age 21 students may need special education support due to a learning disability or other disability. Students on Individual Education Plans (IEPs) or 504 Plans are among those provided for through this office. Education Specialists and highly trained professionals work diligently to support the learning of all students experiencing a disability in order to lead fulfilling lives and succeed as citizens in our community.
Eagle Point School District 9 (EPSD9) recognizes the diversity and worth of all individuals and groups and their roles in society. It is the policy of EPSD9 that there will be no discrimination or harassment of individuals or groups on the grounds of age, color, creed, disability, marital status, national origin, race, religion, sex or sexual orientation in any educational programs, activities or employment.
