In-Person Learning Update
Posted on 04/28/2021
What does it mean for Jackson County to be in "Extreme" Risk? We are planning to continue with in-person learning. Wear your mask over your nose and mouth. Wash your hands frequently and scrub for 20 seconds. Social Distance yourself. More information coming Friday April 30! Check Facebook and our webpage.

Today, Jackson County was one of fifteen Oregon Counties moved to the category of “extreme risk”. This status will begin on Friday, April 30th. This status does not impact Eagle Point schools directly as we operate under the RSSL Guidance rather than Jackson County Metrics. We believe we can continue to operate our schools with in-person instruction until the end of the year.

However, being in “extreme risk”, will have an impact on activities that occur outside of the school day. Activities including prom and sports, and possibly our graduation ceremony plans, will be impacted. EPSD9 staff will be working on how these activities will need to be modified. We intend to have details of these changes out as soon as possible.
