At Eagle Point School District 9, one person is continuously focused on building stronger connections between students, families, and educators—Mr. Eric Thomas, the district’s Behavior Intervention Specialist.
Next year the Eagle Point School District 9 will begin holding late-starts on Wednesdays, except February 27, 2026.

Eagle Point High School senior Ila was shocked to find out she had been named the Oregon Stat Star Farmer for 2025. This recognition comes after years of hard work, dedication, and a passion for agriculture that began long before high school.
The NC3 hands-on lab provided automotive students with the opportunity to certify in the use of Snap-On 525F multimeters, an essential piece of equipment in various career technical industries.
White Mountain Middle School’s STEAM class, taught by Mr. Hernandez, stands out for creativity and practical skills with hands-on building. Upon entering the room, you hear students’ laughter, lively discussions, and the satisfying sounds of tools at work. It’s clear that this space is more than just a STEAM classroom, it’s a place where future builders, engineers, and problem-solvers come together.
This holiday season, the streets of Main Street came alive with the festive spirit of art, thanks to the creative efforts of EPHS’s Art students and a generous donation from the Eagle Point & Upper Rogue Chamber of Commerce.
Spotlight
As graduation day approaches, Eagle Point High School proudly honors two exceptional students who have earned top academic distinctions: Valedictorian Jaxon Angiolet and Salutatorian Aidan Whitson. Their journey to these honors represents not only academic excellence but also personal growth, community involvement, and a shared spirit of perseverance.
EPHS sophomore Jamie T. recently received regional recognition in the prestigious Scholastic Art & Writing Awards for their short story, “Even the Brightest Stars.”
When Peyton entered Eagle Point High School as a freshman, he was uncertain about the direction he would take. After only a few weeks, Peyton quickly discovered that his true strengths lay in hands-on work. This realization, along with opportunities with CTE, ignited an interest that would shape his next four years.
