This year twenty-five students from Eagle Point High School competed at the SkillsUSA Oregon State Conference in Clackamas. They each competed in various career, technical, and leadership contests that they have been preparing for throughout the year.
Liam Gruszczenski and Levi Strong were awarded the Gold medal for Urban Search and Rescue Robotics. As a team, they have qualified for the SkillsUSA National Conference.
Our silver medalists include Alyssa Swanson in T-Shirt design, Corbin Maple in Power Equipment Technology, Eliza Ortuno in Restaurant service, Cody Silani in Firefighting, Zachery Gorman in related technical math, and Olivia Tucker in photography.  
Bronze medals were awarded to Seth McCoy in Pin Design and Reis Powell in Power Equipment Technology.

Over the last 15 years the EPHS Skills USA Chapter has won well over one hundred top three Medalist at the Oregon State SkillsUSA Career and Leadership Conference, and more than twenty top ten placings at the SkillsUSA National Competition.
