Transfer Information

I would like to enroll a student in EPSD9 who is currently attending a different district:

Incoming Interdistrict Transfers​​​​: If you live outside the boundaries of Eagle Point School District 9 and would like your student to attend a school within our district, you must first request a release from your resident school district. Once your release has been requested, you may complete the 2025–26 Incoming Transfer Request Form.

Please note that placement at a specific school is not guaranteed. Final school assignments are determined by EPSD9 Administration based on class size and program availability.

Families whose students are already attending an EPSD9 school on an approved interdistrict transfer do not need to submit a new request.

I would like to transfer a student out of EPSD9 to a different district:

This process is required for families who live within Eagle Point School District 9 boundaries but wish to enroll a student in a school outside the district. Known as an outgoing interdistrict transfer, EPSD9 allows this only through a Hardship Transfer Request. In 2021, the EPSD9 School Board revised Policy JECF-AR to align with state guidelines. Only families who meet the hardship criteria outlined in OAR 581-021-0019 will be considered for transfer to another district, and once a hardship transfer is approved, it does not need to be requested again.

Hardship Transfers - Only for families that meet the hardship requirement (OAR 581-21-0019). Once approved, you do not need to request it again.

*The Intradistrict Transfer application process for the 2025-26 school year was open April 1, 2025, through May 31, 2025, as per board policy JECBB-AR.  Please contact your school principal if you have any questions.

*Decisions are made by building principals.  If you have any questions regarding your request, please contact the principal of your resident school.
