2-1-1 Service Helps You Help Others
-
The winter months are a critical time for our schoolchildren. Two-thirds of them come from families that are struggling to make ends meet. For these families, a bout of the flu or a big heating bill can become a crisis.
When you reach out to a needy child this winter, remember that you aren’t alone. Many public and private agencies stand ready to help. And they are now accessible through one telephone number: 2-1-1.
Dialing 2-1-1 connects you to help with food, clothing, shelter, heating aid, transportation, medical care – and 5,000 other services. The same services are available online at www.211info.org and on the United Way of Jackson County website: http://www.unitedwayofjacksoncounty.org
Thank you for helping!
