Employment Applications and Process

In order to be considered for employment you must complete the online application process.  We no longer accept paper applications or attachments.  All applications and attachments must be submitted online.

Licensed Application Process

Jackson County School District 9 requires, along with an online application, the following items be included with your online application packet:
  • Three letters of recommendation
  • Resume
  • Cover Letter
  • Copy of your current Oregon Teaching License
  • Teaching Philosophy
  • Transcripts

If you wish to apply for more than one position you must submit your application for each position you wish to be considered.

Classified Application Process
Jackson County School District 9 requires a complete application if you wish to apply for employment.  Attaching your resume and letters of recommendation is always helpful, but not required. 
If you wish to apply for more than one position you must submit your application for each position you wish to be considered.

  • You must register and log into the application web site before you can apply for jobs.
  • Make sure you complete all sections of the application that are required.
  • You can review and update your application information at any time.
  • All supplemental documents may be uploaded in several formats.  The district cannot accept documents that are separate from the electronic application.
  • To confirm your application, click on the Application Status tab. You must be logged in to to see this.



Per district policy all offers of employment shall be contingent upon the successful passing of a district required drug test and criminal background check.  Jackson County School District 9's Human Resources will designate where and when the testing will be conducted.  The offer of employment will be withdrawn from candidates who test positive for drugs.
